My Profile
Personal Profile
For more than twenty years, I have been involved in the Learning and Development industry,
working for different organisations across different sectors: private, Government, Ministries, Departments
and Agencies, and non-profit organisations.
I was part of the Team that validated Ghana’s Youth Employment Policy and the National Human Resource Development Policy
I have facilitated training sessions for Boards, CEOs/MDs, Executive Managers and HR Directors, Team leaders and
Supervisors across Ghana and the UK. Over the years, I have developed a solid philosophy and methodology for
facilitating adult learning sessions. Educated up to doctoral level, I have also practised as a professional educator
from primary to postgraduate (MBA) level, and have supervised the thesis of several students at masters and doctoral
levels. I have written books and published articles in academic and practitioner journals.
I have managed different
consultancy and training projects (in corporate and faith-based organisations), including major HR and
change projects. I am looking for opportunities to restructure and redesign organisations and their HR
systems, develop their competitive strategy and establish a solid management and leadership development programme
and system that would enable and support their growth.

Nothing happens without leadership. Nothing changes without leadership. There’s no progress without leadership. Leadership sets the boundary to growth in any entity. To realise growth, grow the leadership; otherwise, change the leadership or there can be no growth
The leader’s message is two: what they teach with their verbalised message, and what they teach with their non0verbalised message. The latter is more powerful, more potent than, and determines the extent to which the former is received.
The leader’s appointment takes place at two levels; the formal appointment by an appointing authority, and an informal individual level appointment given in the hearts and minds of the followers, gained through how the leader relates and works with the people.
Leadership is a special characteristic feature displayed by a person in any role at any level, and under any circumstance, and is personified by such virtues as responsibility, accountability, moral discipline, courage, confidence, creativity, ability to work with and persuade others, and an orientation to the future and the long term
Leadership demands the courage to confront the wrong and to uphold and defend the right, sometimes at the peril of one's own life. True leaders, committed to a genuine cause, die first to that cause before they begin to live for it. So, they can't be threatened by death to abandon that cause.
Leadership is the way and manner persons placed in positions of authority and responsibility provide direction for the organisation that may demonstrate responsibility, accountability, transparency and foresight, leading to organisational prosperity and effectiveness, or irresponsibility and lack of accountability and of foresight, leading to organisational ineffectiveness and failure – ‘how do leaders lead?
Transformational leaders believe that only transformed people, can transform an organisation, and that the use of force does not produce transformed people, but instead, a conditioned people, harnessed to behave in certain ways that can be best described as cosmetic, and to pursue values, without necessarily understanding why or accepting these to be true and legitimate.
Transformational leaders are leaders whose fundamental objective is to challenge, question, and change the status quo in radical ways; correct errors, and deliver progress.
Leadership is about leading yourself first, then leading others. You begin first by leading yourself, then others, and then you get a formal appointment to lead; not the other way round.
The mind-set of feeling obliged to do and defend what is right, support the good and resist the evil is a clear expression of the exercise of leadership.
Leadership is being ahead of others, peers, and contemporaries in your general approach to life, such as pacesetters, trailblazers, market leaders, and industry leaders.
As church leaders, members give us their trust and support because they believe we stand for and promote the cause of God; if we give them the chance to believe otherwise, they withdraw their support perpetually, and sometimes hate us more than they loved us.
In church leadership, we are part of the product we sell; if they can’t buy you (your conduct, character, etc) they won’t buy your product (message) – often our personal brand gives negative promotion/ publicity to our products.
